Why Trauma Coaching?
Trauma coaching (TC) is a sensitive approach to deal with your anxiety and fear, giving you tools and strategies to overcome your traumatic state. Trauma coaching is for people who lack direction or are confused about which path to choose.
Through creative approaches and skills, TC let the clients explore the links between the past and the present. They connect the clients strongly with their present and future. They make the clients reflect on what actions in the present will be fruitful for their well-being.
With a sensitive and gradual approach, TC guide their clients on the right path. Such coaches are a solid support system. They coach clients to overcome the past with coaching strategies and a caring style and approach. TC are responsible for bringing the lives of many distressed souls back on track. Often such coaches give the traumatic clients a reason to live and cherish what they have.
When We Work Together, We Will:
1. CREATE BOUNDARIES:
Boundaries the way you expect others to treat and respect you. Think of boundaries like a fence. We all know we aren’t to cross our neighbors property lines and we stay on our side of the fence. The same goes for our personal boundaries. If someone crosses them, we have to have the courage to speak out on how their actions effect us.
2. ACCEPT YOUR PAST:
Accepting our past is part of the healing process. When we try to forget or repress memories, it is only a short term fix and will eventually come out later in your life. When you learn to accept and let go of your past, this is where peace comes into our minds and hearts.
3. WORK ON YOUR INTEGRITY:
Integrity means being honest with yourself, God, and another person (a.k.a. your coach). Once we confess and are honest about the things we have gone through or done to others, you will feel a weight lifted since you no longer have the burden of secrets on your heart.
4. INCORPORATE FAITH:
&Rise is a faith based company and we incorporate our faith into the work we do together. With God, all things are possible, including mending your broken heart.
5. INCORPORATE A SELF CARE ROUTINE:
Self care is essential for everyone but for survivors of abuse it is crucial. We need to take time for ourselves to heal. Self care is self love and self love is beautiful.
6. FORWARD FOCUS ON THE FUTURE:
While it’s important to understand where the root of your trauma lies, it is as equally important to focus on where you are going next. If you dwell too much on the past and what could have been, this could hinder your healing and growth. Together, we will come up with a customized plan and set goals for your future so you can start attaining the goals that have been placed on your heart.
