Through my own journey of overcoming trauma, I found comfort and strength in helping others do the same. As we rediscover the parts of ourselves that we lost along the way, we find our voice, we find our strength and we find our passion. It is then we can begin to build a life greater than we ever imagined. As Bianca Sparacino said, “We are not broken, we are becoming.”

About the book club facilitator: As a 911 Dispatcher for 14 years, I have been with people who are in their darkest moments in life. I worked as a Chemical Dependency Counselor in an all-male prison and found that helping people rebuild connections allows them to begin healing. I worked with people who suffer from mental illness and would respond directly to the scene when they were amid crisis. I am grateful to be a part of a community dedicated to helping women rise to the top.
